ReplyDeleteThe story was a little different as I remember. But they did a good job with the movie. Seems that in th story the boy actually tried to scalp Bill. :) Not just dreaming.
ReplyDeleteThey should have tied the boy up and tossed him out the wagon as they rode back by the dads house.
I think that the dad was probably glad to have peace and quiet.
I like O Henry stories they always have a cute twist to them.
