For people who wants to know more: using 3 1/2 diskette for watching Solar Eclipse is well known way in Russia. I used two 3 1/2 diskettes to watch partial Solar Eclipse in 2006 :).

Best wishes and remember yesterday we survived the Total Solar Eclipse (by the way the last in this half of the century) so now we can survived any other things in life,

  1. Hi, Sveta and Kyle!
Have you seen a person, who wrote a comment closing the window and without saving it.Its happened to me for several times. (Being in a hurry, I forget to save it).
Anyway, about the solar eclipse. We could see just a partial one here, in Bulgaria. It was about 10% of the Sun covered by the Moon and we used 2 diskettes. Maybe using 3 ones is better for our eyes.
I saw the full eclipse in 1999, in August. But then I bought special goggles for this purpose.

In other words, it's a great phenomenon and lucky those who can see it.
    My best regards,
    Ludmila

  2. Hi Ludmila,

So pleasure to see you here! :)))

Yes, just today when I wrote email I clicked "Check mail" instead "Send"... it good thing that mail system automatically saved a half of letter as draft - but where to take inspiration to write the last half of letter again?!! So I waited about 40 minutes when I've got some inspiration after this great disappointment!

I've never seen a total solar eclipse... And two diskettes were absolutely enough when I watched partial solar eclipse in 2006. This year it was too cloudy near my office to watch it.

    Best wishes,
    Svet and Kyle
